Traveled to Pokhara by coach, the road was in very poor condition which made this more of an adventure than might be supposed. I don't get much time in this city as it's just a stopover on the way to the trek.

I will have my own guide and porter for the trek. I met my guide Sanu in Kathmandu before taking the coach to Pokhara.
The hotel in Pokhara is very pleasant.
The room had two balconies providing views across the city.
The lakeside is very attractive.
And festival celebrations are underway.
