To Chomrong
To Chomrong
I was originally bound for the Annapurna base camp, but decided to follow a gentler trek for the good of my knees as after the base camp there would be an intensive bout of descending. Chomrong is the last stop that was the same as my original planned route.
To begin the next stage I had to descend into the valley. As my knees were still tender even after a day's rest this wasn't trivial.
Then cross a suspension bridge.
As always there were wonderful views along the way.
After the bridge I was back on the ascent.
I stayed in the Real Chhomrong Lodge and Restaurant.
Another private room with toilet, shower and electric lights with a couple of electric sockets available for recharging devices in a common area.
The next morning from the guest-house the sunrise lit up the mountain peaks.
