I've long wanted to visit Nepal although I know little of it beyond access to the Himalayas and a general image of Kathmandu as exotic.

Some initial goals:

• Experience the Himalayas directly - trekking in Annapurna region arranged through Nepal Hiking Team.

• Experience the country more generally including some time in Kathmandu in particular.
